Hey guys this is a feeler thread to see who all would be interested in a Z and G dyno day out at COBB Tuning. I am working with Chris to hammer out all the details but here is what we are looking at:
It will be on a sunday either the 13th or the 20th of December
Hot Chocolate will be provided.
Use of the COBB Tuning Mustang Dyno to get the most accurate HP ratings.
The joy of hanging out with your fellow Z and G enthusiasts (which we all haven't been very good at latly)
It will also give you the chance to talk with me in person if you haven't already which will allow for me to create better events in the future.
See the Imported Performance 370Z take some of it's first Dyno Pulls.
I will update this thread as I get more details worked out.
This will be the starting of events that I will be hosting in conjunction with shops in the area to really send a much needed shock to the heart of the Z and G community in DFW.
Let me know what you think, and we will get this all set-up!!!

I am going to work out the details with Chris tomorrow and hopefully have a full boat of info for everyone. I do have a price... We have a capacity of 18 cars, $45 for 3 pulls. It is going to be on the 13th of December as well.
I'm glad you got them to almost match our previous dyno meet costs. These are 3 wideband pulls, correct?
^ Their dyno couldn't even read my hp/tq. All I got out of it was a AFR, which actually was what I was most interested in but still.

I've had all sorts of problems on different dynos.
Just make sure these guys know how to strap OUR cars down appropriately without the straps touching any exhaust or suspension components, especially on the initial squat (on the dyno). Also, make sure they know where to tap for tach signal to get the proper reading. Lastly, make sure our cars get proper cooling air directed at the front of the car, so it doesn't overheat or anything.
BTW, is this only ope to Z/Gs? On the previous dyno days, we would allow a couple of non-Z/G cars to dyno with us. Of course, we took precedence, but others were given an opportunity as allowed by time.

Chris is really trying to get this done any way he can. Immediately after this post, I am going to post a new thread from DNE hosting a Dyno Day at Cobb on November 15th. And this has already been posted on the G boards.
In regards to Corvette's of Dallas, they were $39 for 2 pulls. AND Cobb is providing food and drink and is a lot cleaner facility. Though Corvette's of Dallas was rather nice to us.
Anyways, just happened to notice this.
