Hey guys, if you are planning on attending and I missed sending you a private message, there are 2 things that I need you to do :

1. Respond to this message and confirm with me.
2. Call COBB 214-291-3020, ask for Chris and tell him that you are calling to confirm your participation in the Dyno Event.

We have a total of 18 slots, we have over 25 people that are saying they are attending, preference will be given to VQ motors, we also have a live dyno test of motor dyne plenum spacers, as well as one to give away in a raffle. People may not show up and if you do not have a VQ motor there is a good chance you will still get on, Thank You very much for your support of this event.

This is going to be a FULL day of dyno'ing... may be a while before many of us can duck out for a beer. Perhaps we can ask permission to bring some *cough* *cough*

I also have a Dodge Stealth RT that wants to join... I'll have him confirm if he still wants in.

PS... do I still need to call Cobb to set my time? I'll ask you on every forum! hehe

I called COBB and spoke with chris - I would set up a time if you cant stay all day or if you dont care "when" you go. I just remember it took forever when I first got my car dyno'd and I aint messin with that.

And whoever sed its too early for beer. (major icon22 action right there)

A RWD MAXIMA!!! AWESOME! and a SRT8.. and Ive been wondering what those FX's make (the 35's not the 45's)

Yea, I'll be there all day for sure. I'll be a little late... can't give up my round of frisbee golf every sunday morning...

And the FX35's don't put down much. We had one at a previous dyno day that was at Corvette of Dallas. Of course, that dyno was very conservative anyway

I took Tony/Hydrazine and NeverLift off the list, since we'll be holding the dyno experiment at a different shop who will cater to our needs. They can add themselves, if they're still attending this one. I'm still going to attend just to meet up with some people, but I haven't decided whether or not I'll dyno.

That was Stulax18. The numbers were low because he had to dyno in 4th, causing him to hit the limiter, terminating his runs early.

I had my car dyno'd there and it couldn't measure my power output correctly (315.3 whp ) and my tq curve didn't even exist (). They offered to give me 3 free runs to get proper results but I didn't bother going back. Hopefully, you guys don't run into issues like that at Cobb.

I'm expecting to maybe hit 210-215 HP. A friend of mine with a lot of mods in LA got 262 on a Dyno Jet. And he's the one I beat in the 1/4 by .03 seconds. I think at Corvettes of Dallas I hit 190 at 5800 RPM. This time I'll tell them to dyno in 3rd gear, like Technosquare does.

That's right... I remember all that fun... That sucked. I can only believe that Cobb has their **** together in regards to the Nissan family better than Corvettes considering Cobb actually tunes Z's

I've dyno'ed on Cobb's dyno, and I can tell you now that it reads pretty low. Don't expect Dynojet numbers. My stock G37 sedan was in the 265 range. I am going to re-dyno again with a new exhaust (Invidia Gemini)....

If only two people have called, at least from what has been reported, is it really necessary? We get free breakfast, lunch, and hot chocolate so I don't mind staying long enough to take advantage of that.

Oh ok, didn't know if I could look at this to get an idea of what times are available. Now that I'm back in Dallas I will give them a call.
