Mike - Michael is "ZRated67"
Stu - Thanks, but I doubt I would have shaved 2 seconds. That's a hair slower than where Michael was with slicks!
Jason - When do you hit boost? I doubt even your 305s could stand up to a true launch at the strip. You really need to get that low 11 sec run. When do you plan on going?

Yeah, I hit the 3rd cone in the slalom (the same one I hit on 3 other laps, rofl) on my best lap and got +1 seconds. It doesn't really matter though, since I didn't place in the top 5 and I only would've moved up 1 rank -- from 12th to 11.
This is only my 4th autoX event and I'm still learning. I hope to catch up to Michael's skill level soon. He runs ridiculous times at every event!
Chris, the last number is the time difference (in seconds) between you and the best driver in your class. The 2nd to last number is the time difference (in seconds) between you and the driver that ranked just above you.

Well this is my 2nd only Auto-cross and was really stoked on my last 4 runs of the day.....I improved about a sec on every run !

I was actually running on my street tires Saturday. I wanted to see how good they were at TMS compared to my R Comps. The Dunlop Direzza is the best street tire I've ever driven on.

I'll ride with you anytime if you'd like some pointers while you drive. Just get with me on the next event you attend, and we'll see what we can do to improve your times.
I'm running stock sized tires (which drives Jason mental), and at TMS I get some serious understeer as well. Next season I'm running a new tire setup...

They're just as grippy in the pouring rain too. I took FTD in the rain last year by .7 seconds. That's how good those Direzza's are.
I highly recommend them..........and oh yes, and they are affordable!

They are really that sticky. After three runs in the afternoon they got a bit greasy, so I couldn't get into the low 61's as I had planned.

Are these the tires ? there are a few different models of Direzza's.
If so, they look like they don't go up to 19's.

For the autoX, yes, but for highway... not so much. I have taller rear tires for drag racing with nitrous so my ratio changed as well (never shifted to 3rd on this past course).

Lets ride the bike this weekend ! Call me.
So if I have an auto with even longer gears...what is that going to do for me?
