Mike - Michael is "ZRated67"

Stu - Thanks, but I doubt I would have shaved 2 seconds. That's a hair slower than where Michael was with slicks!

Jason - When do you hit boost? I doubt even your 305s could stand up to a true launch at the strip. You really need to get that low 11 sec run. When do you plan on going?

i wanna go when its not 100 degrees that for sure. i think i can hit 2.0 60ft with the current setup. not the 2.3-2.4's i was hitting with wheel hop or just babying it off the line. i hit boost at 4k. i got to use it a bit more on this time around then i did at the last autox.

edit: i dont need to hit low 11's.. id be happy with 11.99.

2nd number is the time difference to the next guy faster than you. 3rd number is the time difference to 1st.

I'll try to come out next time, still haven't fixed my wheel bearing.

This is only my 4th autoX event and I'm still learning. I hope to catch up to Michael's skill level soon. He runs ridiculous times at every event!

Chris, the last number is the time difference (in seconds) between you and the best driver in your class. The 2nd to last number is the time difference (in seconds) between you and the driver that ranked just above you.
Chris you did really good for not even being able to walk the course & learn it....like we should have. That will fix me....next time I will need to walk the course....or better yet, get that gas powered scooter to Jason so he can fix it and we can go around the course with that !

Well this is my 2nd only Auto-cross and was really stoked on my last 4 runs of the day.....I improved about a sec on every run !

Stu, I guess we got our answer. The Porsche 911 was BROWN... cool color shifting paint, though.

Now I can say I was.

I'll ride with you anytime if you'd like some pointers while you drive. Just get with me on the next event you attend, and we'll see what we can do to improve your times.

I'm running stock sized tires (which drives Jason mental), and at TMS I get some serious understeer as well. Next season I'm running a new tire setup...

I was actually running on my street tires Saturday. I wanted to see how good they were at TMS compared to my R Comps. The Dunlop Direzza is the best street tire I've ever driven on.

Nice. I've always heard good things about the Direzzas. Are they really that sticky?

They are really that sticky. After three runs in the afternoon they got a bit greasy, so I couldn't get into the low 61's as I had planned.

They're just as grippy in the pouring rain too. I took FTD in the rain last year by .7 seconds. That's how good those Direzza's are.

I highly recommend them..........and oh yes, and they are affordable!

I bought some ZRated and I cant break the rear loose unless I stomp on them..Sidewall is KILLER and sticky is an understatement... These tires are bad-a$$!

I will have these on my fronts when I go drifting - Im confident they will last all day...I didnt know either Chris, Z-YA told me to get them and Im SOOOOO happy I did...I love them...

I scored a pair of dunlops for my new setup...

ZRated67,

Are these the tires ? there are a few different models of Direzza's.

If so, they look like they don't go up to 19's.

I've been very happy with the stoptechs for autox. Inexpensive and good initial bite/fade resistance.

For the autoX, yes, but for highway... not so much. I have taller rear tires for drag racing with nitrous so my ratio changed as well (never shifted to 3rd on this past course).
