Yeah I am super charged. I've got coils, full suspension set up, edfc, great meat on my tires, and I am so ready to start tracking my car (i have a DD so i'm not too worried about abusing it).. i just wanna go to a couple events first to get the hang of the processes.

Just what kind of tires are you running ?

You are gonna want to get a second set of tires for this after the event.....street tires don't perform worth a crap !

I want me some R-comps for AutoX.....because it's not really how fast you can go....but how fast can you control your ride !

I always advise people to stay on street tires for the better part of a full season. Gives you a better respect for car control, etc. R-comps are fun though.............

I have completely confirmed that walk-ins are welcome. So if any of you want to cave to peer pressure at the last second they'll let you run.

I will probably begin to rip everything out of the Z soon....I might need your help to tell me what items will be the best to go.

I'm afraid I might have to get a truck & trailer like you & Jason to bring the goods to the racing.

I'm not really competitive....but I hate to be last & second SUCKS !

Thats after the seats. I'm fed up putting more money into the car just to bang my head around every corner.

And if you want to do SCCA, you can't take any weight out of the car or it'll put you into a non competitive class (with me!).

3.7's is not legal within anything under Prepared class. That is a full blown gutted, real slick, race car class. If you aren't really in to compete....it's not a problem, but don't expect to be within a country mile of winning. Even street prepared is a tough, fast class. You can only remove select things from the inside.....and that is still a class you will need hoosier A6's for.

If it were me I would go for STR if I were you. You can't use the 3.7's, but the suspension, etc is pretty open. Also, it is obviously a street tire class. It has great turnout nation wide though....offers fabulous competition.

I understand all that....I'm sure I will be in another class as soon as I finish my conversion.

You realise there's going to be a half a dozen of us there. Likely some will be willing to help. How hard can it be?
