Ok, I'm in! I won't be running, but I've got nothing else to do, so I'll at least come out for a bit to watch, get some ride alongs, and work on my tan.

You should register anyways. There's only 42 people registered right now and one of those is emad is isn't coming.

I don't want to run though haha. I hate that lot and I don't like the BMW people. I want to give the pony-tailed guy a good chewing out sometime.

Still bitter about that are we? Lol I'm not the biggest fan of tms either due to my understeer issues. I thought about swapping my stickier back tires to the front for this but if it so much as sprinkles I'm boned lol. Would be pretty weird too having 275's up front and 255's in the rear lol

I just can't get over the fact that someone would get mad at me for taking an extra 30 seconds max. I'm surprised he didn't go punch the guy who leaked some fluid on the track after his car died later on. That took at least 10 minutes to clear up.

"We're under a time restraint here"

I guess I could put my 295's on the front haha, except I'd need open lug nuts to fit my extended lugs as the spacers would need to come off.

Ironic that I actually have 10 spare open ended lug nuts at the house lol. I think Gavin had an issue with them being pushy about the time stuff too that day

Well I hit the timing light lol but thankfully it didn't break and chris spun out and killed 4 people including Gavin. So now we don't have any major competition anymore JK! (except for the timing light part, that actually happened lol)

It was just barely sprinkling still when we got there and the track was very wet when we first started but it dried out quick. The morning runs were all garbage from the wet surface but the afternoon gave us a nice dry track and we still got to have some nice cool temperatures all day and the sun never really cane out to beat down on us.

Yeah the rain stopped and we were in the first group to run so we basically dried the entire course for the BMW people. My times were very slow for the morning....that black-top was a virtual ice rink for the morning runs.

Out of our group of 4....I just barely nudged out Gavin....and then Adam, and Pat. ( I think ???) Sorry Pat ...but on a good note, your lucky you didn't break that timing light.

My best time was 48.206 and Gavin's was like 48.262 ( not positive ). Lol...but times a time and I edged him out on this one !

And there was someone still in between our times.

I really wanted it to drizzle all day. Still had fun sliding around in the morning.

Yeah the wet runs in the morning were fun. It was good to learn how the car would act on that kind of surface.

Yes Sir....it was a pleasure to meet you as well.

I was left at the end with Stu....I have the Blk Z.

The event turned out very small for the DFW area....usually the events are pretty full. Maybe the Heat streak with the 40 consecutive days keep some peeps from signing up.

I would enjoy the opportunity to hangout more in the future. Maybe like the SEMA show some time...I would love to go to it soon. You sure have a knowledge of the VQ's and more.

Hope you have a great stay in TX.

Ya my best was a 51.358 or something and I think Adam had a 50.??? I should hopefully have my new tires by the next event. If I don't then I don't think I will be able to run my car. I'm pretty much decided on getting me some Potenza RE760 sports in 275/40-17 for the rears. They seem to be a pretty good well rounded tire that I can still daily drive and not have to worry about replacing them every 4-6 months like I'm having to do with these Nittos. Funny thing is that they are actually a bit cheaper than the Nittos that I was going to get.
