So idea for next spring....but we would need a definite commit to show. Just a feeler but how many would want to go to a Texas ranger game?

If anyone has ideas on an event let me know. I was kinda thinking lunch and then a hwy metroplex cruise (no racing or showboating). I know go-karts is an option.

Verdict - will pm you

I'm definitely in for go-karting. I recommend Speed Zone (cheap) or Dallas Karting Complex (better karts/track). Pole Position's karts are electric and the guys that work there remotely turn your kart off or slow you down with any sort of contact -- f that. There's also no room for passing at PP.

Cruises are fun, and we've done several in the past so there should be old threads, some with actual routes that we took. We can either do it on the highway (can be boring and depends on traffic) or we can go on the back roads (pretty good roads east of McKinney).

Here are some pics of my Z since I showed up in a Prius.

How do people feel about a little tailgating party? Rangers/Cowboys? I'm definitely down for cruising, would do go-karts as well.

if we did a game of any sorts, tailgating would happen... but that means that acid jake would have to bring his truck since he is the only one with a tailgate!!!!!

Why don't you guys come to an AutoX event and then we can cook out for lunch and peeps can ride or drive in their cars ?

I have a grill....we usually have a pot luck anyways and cook some good burgers or brats. Jake's truck is killer....but we don't need a tailgate, we always set up a canopy and chill.

Seems like a better idea to spend some quality time. The next NTAXS is in Nov. I think ???

Cruises usually have a good turn out, more than other types of meets, so I say let's give that a try next.

Great turnout. Biggest meet it's been on here in a while. Good meeting new people even though I don't remember anybody. Name tags for sure next time would be a good idea.

Everyone normally likes cruises.

There are some good roads west of Fort Worth and around Mansfield to cruise around on. Also around North or West of Denton

Carting is awesome but a tad pricy..maybe there's a package to make it more reasonable for large groups
