You're 40ish??? I always thought you were late 20s/early 30s.

That makes the 3rd person now recently who I've found out is way older than they seem, although the other two were out in CA and guys I rode with. One I think was over 50, and he looked mid 30's.

I think it's because I'm getting older, so guys who are just a little older than me are now in their 30s, not 20s.

Hey y'all. Moving to arlington area by the end of the month from waco cause of new job. I'm down to meet up/cruise whenever the next one is. Not really familiar with the area? Any recommendations as to a safe area to live?

I'm not too familiar with Arlington, but I've been through North Arlington and it's not bad. If I was working in Arlington then I'd live in Grand Prairie. Just depends on whether you're buying or renting.

Buying or leasing? Mansfield and Grand Prairie are also nearby.

Just renting for now. I read online that Grand Prairie is pretty bad area too. Guess gotta look more into it.

There are good and bad areas in all cities. Mansfield is probably one of the nicer areas around here and it is only a ten minute commute to South Arlington/I20.

every city is going to have it highs and lows.. GP isnt horrible, has its nice areas, i have family that live in south arlington not far from mansfield and it is pretty nice. i have lived all over... north arlington, downtown dallas, irving (valley ranch right by cowboys training facility) and now in lewisville. i was in irving for 5 years and liked it, and really like lewisville, if you came up north you would be going opposite of rush hour traffic for the most part. it really depends on how much you want to spend. in lewisville i pay $985 for 850sqft apt with garage and yard, in irving it was 780 ish for 750 sqft and garage

Getting old has benefits and disadvantages too !

Both Scott and I are definitely the oldest of the bunch by almost 10 years.
