Honestly I hate to come out like this but I am stationed in the Fort Worth area with my first 350z mind boggled asked other forums got nothing maybe you guys would help I have no clue I am siting in my garage with my bumper, hid, and dash off trying to figure out why when I turn my lights on I can jump up to 3k Rpms and slow down from there but with the lights off I can burn rubber I have no idea why my lights would affect this. Any ideas?

 

That's the first I've heard of headlights messing with throttle control. There is a similar issue with a few of us that have trailer wiring hooked up. My car cuts throttle if I try to accelerate with my turn signal on.

Your issue is obviously a little different, but sounds like a wiring issue somewhere. Are they aftermarket headlights? Has any other wiring been tampered with?

Not sure yet so I won't put myself on the list. Anyone interested in going to the Fort Worth Auto Show earlier in the day? I hope to do both, but unsure so far.

 

I was thinking of maybe going to the dyno thing prior to the meet.

Personally, I didn't even know there was a FW Auto Show until this year. I like going to them every once in a while but I think I'll save my money on this one.

 

I can't make the meet tomorrow and I'll actually be going to the auto show on Sunday morning with Brandon and Jason Z-YA if anyone wants to join.

How are you going to tell us you'll be in a new Z and then say you won't show up?
