Just to let everyone know, my friend works for an insurance agency(cant say which one), but he told me that insurance agencies pay scouts to sit up at MIR and take pics of cars racing, and then the cars liscence plate and then they send that info in and your insurance company will automatically drop you. The scouts get $300 a car!!!!

The best thing to do is, right when u get in the pit, take your liscence plates off and throw them in your trunk. That way they have no proof it is your car. Just a helpful hint to all.

I don't know if this has been answered but its this going to be drag racing or circuit racing?

 

MIR is a 1/4 mile track, so it will be drag, not circuit.

were not renting the track out....not eneough time and people to do it...but later on in the summer we definatley will be...most likely...near the middle of the summer or end...i will definatley keap everyone updated on the status of that though...i know Mike @ AAM knows some people down there for us to get it done...i will talk to him as soon as i get a chance though....

Yikes. Do insurance companies really have a policy against track racing?

 

i got a run down from GT3R about this....just simply take your licensce plate off...its basically a liability purpose for the insurance companys....or something along those lines...i woudln't worry too much guys...this issue ususally always comes up when there is a track day...

Llike I said guys , anyone that wants to come up here that Friday night just let me know. I have to make sure I get visitor parking passes for the garage. I dont have tons of places to sleep but its a big apt. Just take your golfclubs out of the Z and replace them with a sleeping bag.
