Mantis3024 (or anyone else heading south on 95) -- a bunch of us are meeting at the columbia walmart (off 95 at dobbins rd. and 175) and driving down together. We do it every yr. U are more than welcome to join the group for the ride down.

We will be heading out at 11. to get there a little b4 1pm. So that would require everyone to be there around 10-11. Last yr we had about 10 cars.

 

I just moved to VA now, so I can't make the Walmart caravan, but I will see you guys there!

Well guys looks like I will not be there sunday for the meet. I just lost my tranny today. Had to drive the car home doing 5mph and it was slipping in and out of gear. 27k and no tranny but I wonder if FI has anything to do with that?

 

Man Toby, I am really bummed to hear that man. Just when your car was so ready to rock. I seriously hope you have a mod-friendly dealership. I imagine that once they pop the hood and see that S/C, they're gonna start the voided warranty game. Best luck my friend, and keep us in the loop on the recovery!

Thanks I am having it towed there today. need to pull my front lip off first. I talked to a buddy that works the service area and he said there might be a chance he could get it though. I told him $500 is his if that happens. LOL

She is dead I put it in gear and she will not even move

 

Did you see any A/T fluid drop out? You could just have a lsd problem. (no pun intended)

 

if anyone has a CS front without holes, i'll def make it down ^_^

 

no fluid but today I was able to drive the car and sifted fine. so looks like yesterday it was doing this because of it being hot and after driving hard for a while. Its on the way to the dealer now

 

WOAH this is a big RED FLAG....i think this is the first A/T tranny i have heard of going out....im sure its from all the power transfering to it...man toby im sorry to hear about the Z. i hope everything goes well, and you get it fixed. let us know what happened to the tranny when you find out though im really interested cause i dont want this happeneing to myself. Keap us updated though. BTW with the drive for the VA guys im sure we can all meet up in springfield at the commerce st location where the previous meets have been located and we can drive from there to Evolution. Ill make another thread if neccesary to get a roster of people.

I'll be there. It'll be nice to see everybody's car. Also, someone is going to have to give me a block of instruction on the oil dipstick. I swear oil flings off of it before I have it completely out and why does it have to have that damn kink on the bottom? I've been checking my oil every fill-up but with the APS oil pan it reads low anyway. I need a reference point just for my peace of mind.

 

I see that some of you guys are meeting up in Springfield before you head over to Evolution. I'm going to see if I can stop by, but unfortunately I can't go to the meet...I'm in an Ultimate Frisbee league tournament in D.C. haha I'm a tool. Anyway I need to show off the RS-R exhaust I just bought from ttsupra94. I'm going to see if I can get the silencers off so you can hear me coming...vroooom

 

i think i'm gonna go to nova friday night. i live in falls church up there. anyone meeting up near there to drive to the meet? where's the springfield meet up going on and what time? maybe i can swing by there?

 

Hell with this I am not missing this meet car or no car. But there is a chance I will have my car back by this weekend. cant take that long at the dealer. but if not I will be sporting that gas hog H2. I need to show up so I can pick my BBK kit up

 

What's gonna happen if the weather gets ugly?
