Local NoVa window tinting?
Is LA Tint my best bet? Who else has gone there before and how much were you charged? What's the wait time like?
I had my windows tinted 35% sides/20% rear on my Mustang but that was done at the old bodyshop my stepdad used to work at. I got that done for $175 (usually $200) and it came out quite good.
I'd reallly like to do 20% all around, or even lower, but I was pulled over once in the Mustang for the tint and given a pink warning slip from good ol' FCPD. They measured the tint levels and everything.
Should I just stick to 35% all around (VA state legal)? Anyone else with opinions?
Thanks

Hey 35% all the way around isn't legal in VA, it's 50% in front and 35% in the back. I've had 35% all the way around on all my cars and haven't had a problem with the popo in VA so far.
As far as I know LA tint will not put the illegal tint on your car, at least the one in Sterling. Hey you go, there was a thread on this a while back.

I have 30% all the way around, and have never really been bothered. I had a shop in Annapolis do mine, but another good place is Quality Tire in Woodbridge. They wanted $200 to do the Z at any tint level.
