We had about 40 cars show up (divided by 10) and ended up having our drive cut short due to unforseen circumstances....pics can do all the talking...

Nice pics...was that Blue Ridge??? How far did you go up before the tree stopped you guys?

 

Yep, that was Blue Ridge. We made it maybe 3 or 4 miles (maybe?) before we hit the downed trees. The road conditions really were treacherous with piles of sand and road debris, and everything from twigs to full on branches littering the lanes. A broken branch or vine or something even attacked our cars from an overhanging tree! I very seriously feared for the front bumper of my car on this road today because of all the debris. Most of the time was spent driving like Schumacher through the chicanes of an F1 road course. It was still a good time though. See you guys next time!

I second the Thanks. That's a great shot. 1000 HP worth of sports cars stopped dead in their tracks by a few trees.

 

got a few more for the 'nature lovers'....im surprised at some of these pics as they were taken while i was driving and snapping at the same time, unfortunately this was the cause of my close encounter with Mr. pothole

Love the pic with everyone on the right hand side of the road and you on the left hand side. Looks like you got a little carried away! haha.. Wish I would have checked driver, I would have met up with you guys. I'm sure there will be plenty more.
