whatever you do... once you get a lightweight flywheel, don't get anything heavier... it blows nuts

So you switched out eh? What did you end up with again? And what are the lightweight, hi-power alternatives? ATS?

I put in a stocker as a temporary measure until my motor is done and the ATS Dual plate carbon (lightweight option - 9.9lbs for the flywheel) goes in...

going from 8lbs. to 46lbs. is a major downer...

compounded is the fact that my ultimate racing cats are falling apart on me (interior), so i get this nasty grinding sound (what i thought was my tranny, lol)

at least the rear end still kicks *** (cusco is loud as crap in a parking lot, lol )

whatever gets rid of the rasp... i swear, i'm going to go nuts driving up there tomorrow morning...

actually, she commented today that the car was sounding a little "ricey" and that I needed a lower-note exhaust, bahahaha!

anyone got a true dual with test pipes to let me know what it sounds like?

doh...

anything out there that doesn't sound raspy with test pipes?

because I really, really don't want to have another set of hi-flows drop on me, and there's no way i'm going back to stock -- had enough withdrawl pain with the tilton

machupo just get a set of resonated test pipes. no rasp like regular test pipes, and wont fall apart inside like high flows. or get a turbo kit and that will stop the rasp!

lol, turbos soon enough (have to get the engine done first!)

i think i've still got the stock cats floating around somewhere in my garage, so i'll swap them on quickly to see if the sound goes away (to make certain it's the cats)
