Exclamation FS: Random Tech HF Cats

Hey guys,
My Turbonetics S/T kit will be here next week and going on the car the following week. As a result, I will have a pair of Random Technologies Hi-flow cats for sale. These went on my car right after I completed break-in, and the car now has 7500 miles on it, so these have approx. 6300 miles on them, of which about 1300 was traveling to and from ZDayz. These are being offered only to my local mid-A brethren for local delivery/pickup; I will not ship. I searched about 10 pages of the Private sale forum here, and $275 seems to be a reasonable price for these given the low miles and relatively babied driving they have seen. Per Kinetix, these are 50-state legal cats and will pass sniffer test in VA and OBD-II scan in MD.

These things really make the exhaust note more aggressive with aftermarket exhaust systems and seemed to give a little more top-end grunt to the car without being raspy like some of the other HF Cats on the market.

I hope someone wants to give these a good home. It would be a shame to have them sitting in my basement not getting used.

Hmmm...I must resist temptation. I promised myself I wouldn't buy anything else for the car, as I'm saving for other non-Z related purchases.

Jess, these cats would do great things for that Invidia man!!! Resistance is futile!!! And hell, $275 is like half price on these cats which are very low mileage. You know you want 'em!

Yes, they definitely would. The stock cats are quite restrictive. The exhaust note will be much more aggressive with these, and you'd probably still see some minor power gain, particularly at the top end.

As for install, they're basically bolt in replacemens for the stock exhaust. Evolution Autosports installed them for me with my GReddy EVO2 TD exhaust, so I don't know how not removing the exhaust system would affect the install.

Is the bridge long enough for 1/4 runs? this could be worth it ... also what is the clearance pulling onto this bridge it may be to no use for some of us ..

It's a Euro-spec bridge imported directly from London. It's a composite bridge, with a layers of brick and mortar, guaranteed to be very strong. It's not an adjustable height bridge, but it does provide fair clearance over river sized water obstacles.

Nah, doesn't include traffic. Sorry. I didn't get the traffic bypass option when I ordered it.
