Last year "load-in" went really smooth, except I had to do high-speed time trials up and down 28 to burn off excess gas...

If you're showing I think you need less than 1/4 tank or something.

The web-site currently says 1/8 of a tank. I'm gonna have to do some driving. I didn't see this until today and just filled my tank up last night.

Friday all the hot cars are driving to HIN
Saturday all of us lightly modded cars are driving in ...

They HAD to split us up ..

I think at this point we're operating on pure speculation and organization from previous events. There is nothing on the site that indicates a friday PM load-in for any car. Hopefully they'll put up more information as the show gets closer.

As for the gas thing, I think it's a fire-marshall requirement.

Nothing like flying by the seat of our pants here, eh?

Ok here is what needs to be figured out:

They way things are now is there are going to be two groups rolling up to HIN.

Ones going to be inside and ones that arent!

Admission is 25.00 or you can show your vehicle inside and bring a passenger for 50.00...so I am a lil confused as to why we all dont put our cars inside as a group....
Just an idea though ...

I agree that it would be very cool if we were all inside. The registration for the show is actually $58.50 after service fees and such.

Found this on the web-site.....

" You can register your vehicle online at www.hotimportnights.com and look under the Registration section. It is generally $50 to register your vehicle. Once we receive your application and you are approved, you will get a letter in the mail or email about details for bringing your car for roll in as well as information on how to compete. We sell out of show car space early… so remember, if you're interested in participating in Hot Import events… REGISTER EARLY!"

Hmmm.....Looks like you have to be approved or something....Now everything is clear as mud.

Also this...

" When do we need to bring our cars for setup of the show, and what do I need to do to prepare it for roll in?
Roll in takes place the day before the show. For indoor venues, you MUST have less than a ¼ tank of gas in your vehicle. Also, your battery will need to be disconnected once spotted at the show. To run power to your vehicle at the event, you will need to order electricity as well as get a DC inverter. More information on this can be obtained from your vehicle confirmation letters that you will receive in the mail shortly after you register your car."
