Default Anyone know anything about CarSponsorships.com?

I was browsing cardomain.com the other day, and saw an ad for "carsponsorships.com" so I clicked on it. Decided to fill out the application just to see what came back. So far I have gotten three "offers" one from "national automotive company" for "$7,000" to go to the HIN competetions. One from Blaupunkt USA that is "Open" and another from "Decalkits.com" for $650. Can anyone offer any advice or information on this? I am kind of skeptical but I don't really know what to think about it. I don't want to sign up for something that is a bad deal and end up making my car something I really don't want it to be. Thanks, any information is helpful.

It's a scam for your 75 dollars and then they try to sell you crap at regular price. I would stay clear from this scam.....

Mike that is funny as hell.

As far as car sponsorships, just create a resume/proposal for your car.. . Find a POC at the company you are interested in e-mail him the resume with pics. Then call to confirm he recieved and go over your resume on the phone with him. Include any magazine shoots you have lined up and all the shows you plan to attend this season. You have to convince them that they will get plenty of Media coverage for them to make it worth their while.

damn... theres already at least two other forums on here about this scam... sounds like its all the same... hasn't changed a bit in the past year, except for the fact that they dont take your money until after you accept the "sponsorship"... i know i didn't get charged just for applying because i do online banking with boa and i can check balances and its basically up to the minute on charges (you know the guys in the coffee shop and he buys a coffee and his friend sees it on the comp... yeah that kind of thing) and nothing ever showed up from them so hopefully I am safe... uneasy though

You just use THREAD LOCK.

OUTBURZT has gotten enough attention in about 5 other similar threads, and this thread was a question asked and answered, so to prevent any additional visitation (which is generally unproductive except for our very own Big MD's awesome photoshopping), I'm shutting this one down.

Carry on. There's nothing to see here.
