There's a gas station right next to McD's so people can fill up before we leave. Try to get there by 10:30AM so we can hand out directions and gas up.

Jess, what part of the Skyline drive are you looking at, I have been all the way down to Harrisonburg but I haven't been as far north as 66 on it. It is a great drive, I am in hopefully sways will be in by that time.

 

Couple guys at 350zforum.com are getting together to drive Sklyine on 9/18... Here's the link. Y'all are welcome to come as participation over there is low normally. We had one good sklyine with 10+ Zs but after that its been like 2-5.

I was thinking about driving the north half of Skyline. I don't want to go too far south, or else we might as well go to NC and visit the TOD .

I would prefer the 10/8 also. Yeah I didn't want to go too far south, but I thought I would mention it. I have heard great things about the entire skyline.

I'm definitely down for this drive. I've been wanting to do skyline for some time now (never done it before either), so I'm psyched about this one. I like 10/8 as well, as it gets us more into the season when leaves will be turning. I will be bringing the SLR camera/tripod, and I'd like to get some good shots of everyones car for the calendar. Hope we get a good turn out!!!

 

I am always up for both cruises, so I might hit 9/18 with the 350zforum guys (and you are all welcome) and I can come 10/8 to chill with y'all...

Jess, is that the McDonald's we met at for TOD?

 

Yup, the same one, but not so early this time (which reminds me, I forgot to put a time, I'm going to edit my previous post). For the same reason we met there for ZDayZ, it's far enough west in the direction we need to go so people won't have to backtrack.

I suggest eating at Skyland. Driving south from Front Royal, there are several exits from the park. As far as photo opportunities, the entire park is an opportunity for the 350Z in a natural setting.
