Default FA: Seibon feeler

I am waiting on a used VS hood right now but I am having second thoughts about installing it. I just had my hood shocks painted to match the car and dont really want to take them off. I have been told after time they will crack a CF hood. I dont know like the thread says this is just a feeler.

If I sell I WILL NOT SHIP! LOCAL ONLY payed $450 shipped will sell for $400 pick up or meet up someplace.

I dont know guys should I chance it and paint the damn thing and install it or sell it and keep the clean look? Help me out here.

My Carbon-fiber / Fiberglass hood is exactly why I haven't installed the hood shocks on my car. I don't want to risk crushing the fiberglass. I think you have to weigh which you like more, the VS hood (painted would look best on your car IMO) or the hood shocks. IMO, the shocks are something people only see when you open the hood, the hood gets seen all the time. Go for the hood brother.

i think you'll get much more enjoyment out of a cf, vented hood than the shocks.

Question

Info on the hood. Is that pic of the hood you are selling or the new one you are looking at...

Looks nice and I have been looking at getting either the Seibon OR (Veilside Version 1) hood.

That hood looks very nice.....

Sweet looking.

So which version of the VS hood, Version 2 or 3? So it is still stock CF and has not been painted/primed at all? Might be very interested if I had a better idea what it looks like.
