Default When installing high flow cats and a Y pipe are new gaskets necessary?

got both items used with no gaskets and haven't been able to find an answer in the quick search I did. TIA

u should be ok with the old gaskets if they fit. just make sure u make some high temp silicone.

Are gaskets expensive? I'd just go pick up a set from the dealer just to be safe, especially if you're not going to do the install.

The Gaskets are metal, and if they're not deformed, they can be reused. I've reused mine 3 times already, and they are not leaking.
