I want to use the money to fix up my 1969 mustang right and also get a bike (thinking R6)

things I've always wanted to do to the mustang:
- mustang II front suspension conversion including rack and pinion steering and coilovers.
- 4.6L DOHC engine/T-5 5speed transmission conversion
- Wilwood front disc brakes
- 18" mach 1 wheels (off 04 mach 1 mustang) - or keeping the 19" dtm kreuz (they'll fit but may look funny on a muscle car - guess I'll have to do a pchop)
- corbeau buckets
- shelby roll bar
- repaint Blue with several shelby elements (fiberglass trunk lid, shelby style tailights, shelby side scoops, possibly different front valence).

I feel like it is about time to put some money into a car that will appreciate... and I'm sick of it just sitting collecting dust in my parent's garage.

gruppe-s y pipe
katzkin leather/alcantara seats - trade for stock seats w/ airbags + cash
aerosync n-style front bumper - trade for stock + cash

avalon racing harness bar

might swap out my center console for a stock one + cash as well.

 

Do the belts come with the harness bar, and if so, will this work with the stock seats? If so, I call dibs on that sucker.

 

Harnesses do not come with the bar... but it does work with the stock seats and you retain the use of your stock belts as well. If I decide to go through with this I'll prob start demodding soon.

do the cats rasp? how much for the cats (if they don't rasp) and the y pipe? Do you need stock parts?

No clue... never even put them on. I'm selling the whole bundle for $300 (exactly what I paid for them so no lowballing )

may sell the brembos... depends if I'm lazy or not. I threw out my stockers though.

here's the bumper:

the paint is perfect - just painted, not even a rock chip. Same goes for the sides. Paint match is great as well.

no pics on my comp at the moment but I can take some tonight. They are black on black with silver stitching though.

well... when I graduate I'm either moving to NYC or San Diego, so I won't need a daily driver. Either way I'm prob gonna get the R6. I just don't feel like dumping any more money or time into a car I've decided not to keep in the long run.

 

Im interested in the bumper and side skirts. Mines DB as well so we can do a 1-1 swap. What are you looking to get for them?
