Looking for a MaryLand Z Meet
What do you all think of this parking lot as our meeting place?
This parking lot is behind APPLE FORD DEALERSHIP.
If you on I95 and exit on Route 175 toward Columbia, stay on the right hand side and look for SNOWDEN RIVER PKWY exit. I think about two lights, you will see APPLE FORD DEALERSHIP on your right hanb side. Turn right, at the traffice light and another right. 2 or 3 blocks down you will see the following parking lot. If you don't see APPLE FORD DEALERSHIP make a U turn.
This picture was taken on a saturday, so I am expecting the lot to be just as empty on the 25th.

Whats that bar that is back in that office complex? Its a pretty popular place.. some irish name I think? Its on the ground floor of one of the office buildings back there. D something I swear..
Those lots should be pretty empty on the weekend as well
I'm checking with my old college buddies for the name.. we used to go there alot.. but its been ages.

You're thinking of Nottingham's, a billiards bar/restaurant. (I keep forgetting its name, too.)
Also in striking distance are the Lone Star Steak House, Don Pablo's, Macaroni Grill, La Madeleine, Hard Times Cafe (chili), Mongolian Grill, Noodles Corner, Frisco Burritos, etc. etc. The problem will be picking one.

I vote we hit Nottinghams
Its got a huge lot in front of it (its actually in the ground floor of a large office complex).. has got beer.. food.. pool.. etc
Check them out http://www.nottinghams.net/
The only other option is if you want 'curb appeal'.. you pick a place that can be seen from the road
But most of the resturants in columbia I would imagine would have some full lots.

I don't recall the food at Nottingham's being great, but then again I don't think I've ever had a regular meal there, just snacks while playing pool.
So I second the idea, as long as none of you folks is a pool hustler.
To get there, follow md350Z's instructions above to Apple Ford (which is on McGaw Road), make the right turn off of McGaw onto Stanford Blvd, continue to the traffic circle, and make the first right off the circle. Nottingham's is on the ground floor of the building on the right. Park in the big empty lot near the other Z's.
It would probably be a good idea to make a reservation, or at least let them know a big group is coming, once we have a good idea how many of us there will be.
