Cool 2JZ! No ****!

I know as most of you know, i have turned to the dark side of high HP and low ets ;-) i finally got my motor for my new project car...the packaging was amazing, very nicely packed, the motor has less than 25k miles, as u can see from the pics is very mint, i got everything i needed to the swap basically, i still need a 6spd tranny and a few things leading after that, but overall im very happy with the motor. Well im finally in my early stages on my swap, basically prepping right now, collecting parts, and doing some headwork here or there ;-)
Got the most important thing needed for the swap though here are some teezer pics for you to drool over...hopefully next time you see it, it will be in a million peices spread across my garage floor or hopefully getting ready to drop into my supra...who knows

Closer....

Tranny, ECU....

Here's the auto tranny + 6spd driveshaft and the motor...

Turbos....

Top view..

Lets get alittle closer...maybe a clearer pic...

Regards,
Ben Yavari

hmmmm.... who knows may be the next project....lol i would probably have to beat the firewall in and most likely cut away at the frame....the exhaust manifolds and intake manifold stick out on those things....not sure if it would....but its an idea

just ordered some HKS cams, HKS DLI (ignition amplifier), HKS EVC (boost controller w/ display), and HKS Turbo Timer Harness.....i cant wait....

This is a 350Z forum you idiot!!! Take that Toyota crap somewhere else.

Just playin' Ben. Do you have a guesstimate of when it's going to be running? Next Spring? Summer? I want a ride in that beast once it's done.

Oh, and regarding the twins on the bumper of that Supra that gargoyleZ posted, could they possibly look any less enthused about what they're doing? Kinda ruins the appeal when they're shooting death rays out of their eyes at the camera.

It must be really cold in there. I'd be pissed off too.

Alberto: i got it from this really reputable guy in FL, has gone through a bunch of supra turbo stages...got it from him for about 4k but its a very mint motor and its a JSPEC....

Kcobean: im debating wether or not to just put the motor in once i get the 6spd tranny...and run the stock twins for awhile till i save up the money for my big single
im actually slowly stumbling upon parts i need for the swap, such as tranny, rear end + axles....im hoping to have everything by christmas time and hopefully start by then....we shall see though...

thanks guys for the comments its going to be a blast once its running!

Sherbaz from SF.com??? I've been in the Supra scene since '97....single turbo, bodykit, wheels....been there, done that.
'95 MKIV's are the best year IMHO. It wouldn't happen to be a blk/blk NA hardtop would it? I almost bought one here in MD to do the very same thing. I changed my mind and decided to go after a 350z(if the wife ever lets me) and build that. I see some areas of improvement, parts wise, for the Z based on my Supra experience.
Anyway, good luck w/ the project and don't forget the injectors and turbo's are smaller on the JSpec GTE's, no EGR either. Also, was it from a Supra or an Aristo? Most JSpecs are from Aristo's and they have a different oil pan.
