just bought a z, and im wondering what everyones experience was in the VA/DC/MD area on service shops... for items such as
- alignment
- mounting tires (19's)
- oil/tranny/other basic maintenance
(not really thinking about any performance mods, just more along the lines of basic maint...)

while im at it.. wanted to get a poll on what ppl thought about which dealer service dept was preferred/best in the area...

Send the work to "huducks". He is a fellow board member who owns/manages a shop on Capitol Hill. He has great workers and will treat you fairly. Not to mention the fact that he understands the love of our cars. Name of the shop is Capitol Hill Auto 202-543-5166. And as far as warranty work, I have had the best experience with TONY in the service department of Browns Nissan in Arlington. I was SOOO **** about my car going in there for some warranty stufff and he was awesome about it...keeping me informed of what was going on, and even taking responsibility of overseeing his guys working on the car making sure they babied it. Overall great experience with him. Tell him "the **** blue Z guy" sent you if you go, haha.

 

Oh, and as far as mounting 19's, Ive got a hookup down in alexandria near Landmark mall if you need it. I cant remember the guys name off hand but he did a little side job for me. Im sure I can get you his contact info.
