I just moved to a new place and could use some extra cash so Im ready to pimp myelf out. I am a certified installer ( What I did for a living in high school and early college), and do very clean work. I have done full systems on about 11 Z's thus far and countless other cars. You are more than welcome to see my car and some of the others Ive done to see my quality. I can do component speakers, coax speakers, subs, amps, tv screens, tv tuners, dvd players, sattelite radio, radar detectors, etc, etc. I am somewhat limited to the custom boxes I can do at the moment due to not having my ban saw and large table saws here in the area but I have a few options open for you. Also, I do still have a connection to equiptment from my job previously at the stereo shop and can get you a good deal on quite a few different brands ( the stuff you would want anyway). And I can also give you advice on what you even need if you need help in that way. Ive been on this board for awhile and have several friends on it that can back me up in this, my quality, and being trustworthy. Let me know what you need, and Ill get back to you as soon as I can. Let me start by saying I dont know $hit about stereo's, not big into them. But one thing I would like is a back-up camera. I have factory NAV and have seen a reverse camera hooked up to it. Can you do this? I dont even know what camera I would need, or wiring, can you give me an idea how much this would run? I can get the parts for cheap online if you give me model #'s, or I can get them from you. If reasonable you'd have my business....

Same with me. I went to the Electronics Plus shop on Sudly rd, and they quoted me 400 for the hook up eletronics to the nav, and it was like 40 bucks for the camer that sits in the lisence plate holder. Thats not counting the install price.

I also would be willing to give you business if you can beat this price even by a little.

Alberto, I know you will need to give year but other than that, I think thats all they need, as they have different one for each year. Let me know!

 

$400 for fuking wires? Thats retarded, I read a post in the a/v forums loooong ago where somebody did it for like $200-250 and installed himself.

I'll be coming to see you after the new year. I'm dreadfully sick of this baseless stock stereo system. Looking at the Pioneer AVIC N2 and all the hookups for Satellite, backup cam, etc. and decent speakers. What's your rate?

 

Don't worry, I'll hook you guys up. As a general rule on labor from me, I charge half of what the average shop does. (wires of course are extra, but Im not looking to make a profit on that) Also, I will give you a flat rate on whatever your job is. No hourly stuff. So even if I have to keep your car all day for some reason I'll still honor that original quote.

Any update on the back-up camera? Pricing? Parts involved besides camera? Not rushing just curious, you can take your time with this....
