Even before I learned about this forum, I raced my Z on a track during some drifting event at Summit Point racetrack back in August 2005 and I took some random pictures of the cars I liked.

I saw a car on Thursday coming toward Tysosn that looked almost like that. Wondering if it's someone on the fourm.

I dont think you raced (sounds like you were at the HyperFest 05 which was in July), you were in a high performance driving event.. there's a difference. You need a racing license to race wheel to wheel. Just say you were at a driving event. Wording is important, especially if something happened to you and your car and you dont want to say to your insurance company that you were racing on a race track, because you weren't. And blowing off the doors on that M3 doesnt count, he gave you a point-by

 

HPDE...High Performance Driver Education...."I was trying to understand the fundamentals of car control so that I'd be a safer driver."

 

Detail meet? Hey guys...I want to know when these detail meets are happening! I so need to detail my car before the full blast of summer.

 

Yeah, we've done 'em a couple of times out here at the house, in conjunction with a BBQ/general hangout. They're a really good time, and Mike and Bob (An awesome detailer and Corvette owner) give detailing tips on using orbital polishers, wax selection, claybarring, etc.
