You've got a cool wife if you can both decide on an EVO as a family car!

Nice work, congrats on the new car.

You should. One thing that amazes me about my friend's evo 8 (although he has some work done) is how fast you get through the gears even for a 5 spd. Someone commented on them riding high, and that's the other thing you really notice. From the driver's seat you feel totally in control, but from the passenger seat you feel like you might flip over...wierd...

You could have sold the Z and kept the money since you already had a 4G63 in the garage that's already paid off IMO, Of course I'm Bias but I think that the 2Gen eclipse body style is the best body style Mitsu came up with so far. The Evo is still a nice car though, enjoy your new ride , Tony.

If they could take the power and drive trains out the Evo and put it in a 2G body AND give me a 10 year warranty I'd be a happy man. I love my DSM, but she's getting old.

Kelly, you crazy as hell man. You got a 2 door sports car with 2 extra cylinders and needed to dump several thousand dollars into it to beat a "family sedan"... just see if you can out-launch me . I'll definately start going back out to the meets in Sterling once it decides to stop raining on Friday nights.

Integrity, I'll def still help with the headers... even though I don't own a Z anymore don't mean I don't like working on them. Let me know a time and date.

So what mitsu dealer did you buy your car from? I'm actually in the same boat, i'm selling my z and thinking about a evo/sti or maybe even a b5 audi s4 bi-turbo.

Btw the evo looks nice, love the black!

Bobs, I got it at Alexandria Mitsubishi. The S4 would be bad-*** too.

Mira Bori, hopefully she finds another good home.

I know I shipped my car from Baltimore to Puerto Rico(even though that's not really overseas) and they didn't ask for except for insurance, etc. I called up Honda to have my bills changed and they told me the car wasn't to leave the U.S. mainland blah, blah, blah. I just told them they can come get it whenever they want. They never did and I paid the car off and didn't have any ramifications when I came back. Maybe he'll get lucky if he and the lien holder can't come to an agreement.

I don't know about EVO people but I recently attended a WRX/STi meet and noticed that on average, Z owners are FAR more attractive than subie owners.

Hey, us Evo owners are DAMN sexy... speaking for myself, of course. I mean, I'm a former Z owner. That automatically makes me God's gift to female eyes.
