Default "nuff doughnuts!

As an ex Dallas cop, I can appreciate everyone's comments on FFX and BS tickets. Front lic plates, tint, loud exhausts, etc., were a great way for me to lock up some bad azz dudes in Big D twenty years ago but I stopped dirtballs in hooptees with those violations, not Z's and the like! My beat was pretty much free of crime on my shift since the dirtballs knew my reasons for probable cause. Now days, it seems every PD wants to pull over everyone for any violation. I get pulled over for the limo tint on my blacked-out
Suburban all of the time on the Dulles toll road, Rt. 28 and Rt. 15, too. My advice, don't make it any harder on yourself than the fact you're in a great ride and the cop isn't.

Stay safe fellas!

IMO Stuff like this just comes with the territory of tuning, modding, and customizing. I think for must of us we know the laws just as good as the cops do. So when we do customize our cars most of us know what is legal and what isn't. If you mod your car in an "illegal" (for lack of a better word) way then it should be understood that you run the risk of getting popped for it. Thats just the way it goes. They do have a job to do whether they are ****** or not.

Whether they are ****** or not, if you conduct yourself in a professional manner and don't get smart with them, they usually cut you some slack.

And for the cops who are just real ****** over and over ( I had one give me 5 tickets in 2 weeks for my windshield being tinted in FL) Keep em coming. Just be careful...if you give me too many in a short enough period of time, thats called harrassment.

My wife got pulled over the other day for going 8 miles over in a 35. 8, not 10, or 15, or 20... 8. So he "let her off with a warning" and then gave her a ticket on the tinted windows. 38% all the way around. Again, 38%, not 20, or 15, or limo... 38%. Want to know the best part? She was driving our Acura TSX. Bone stock. Nothing but the tint... And yes, it was in Fairfax.

Just as an FYI. If the tint metered out at 38%, only the front 2 doors are illegal in VA so don't take it all off.

Sorry to hear that Nowell, next time take off in 1st gear I also got pulled over yesterday for the second time this month on Rt.29 for going 85 in a 55.LOL When he got to the driver's side he said "and the reason is.....", I said "What!", he said "The speeding". I said "Well, I work for DOD and I have a meeting in Rockville". He asked me when was the last time I got pulled over, I told him a month ago on Rt.100, so he asked me what happen. I said I got a warning. So he took my info and went back to his car. Then another trooper pulled up behind him. I was like "Okay make me look like a real criminal with the back up" LOL. So he came up to the car and said, "Here you go, I'm giving you another warning" "I don't know how many warning it's going to take to slow you down". I was like " This is only two strike, I get one more strike don't I? just kidding, Thanks trooper, then I shook his hand. He said, "BTW nice car, but slow down".

See Maryland's cops are nicer, you should move down here with Bert, Kieth, and Myself

You'll understand why they do what they do after you watch THIS VIDEO. To get the impact of the vid, you need to have your sound turned up just a bit (and no, there is no screaming monster at the end or anything like that, I promise). This video is pretty graphic, so if you're squeamish, don't watch...you've been warned.

For the most part, I have a ton of respect for what LEOs do every day and I try to realize that while there is always the bad apple, most of them are good folks. If you think getting pulled over is stressful for you, imagine how it is for them. They get forced to watch vid's like this one in the Academy.

Yea? We all knew the risks before we enlisted, but we still did. They know the risks just like we did/do. If they didn't they wouldn't have joined. Im just pisse d off at the blatent profiling that goes on, and the fact that you really can't have anything nice without them thinking your something your not.

And no offense, but ive seen alot worse than this with my own eyes.

Don't let them win man... fight the man!

Seriously though, don't do it. Just get yourself a 3 inch resonator and have it welded in. You should be good to go after that.

Default Faaaagulllaaaahhhz!

We are missing the entire point here....Cops are FAEGULAHZ! If you dont know what that means..google it... Most of the cops were dorks in school that couldnt get chicks or play sports. We should feel sorry for them and pray for their recovery. Lord knows that I have been pulled over (over 40 times), once a cop tried to give me a DUI after blowing a 0.04...thats a hair under listerine levels! Less than a beer I had with dinner! Cops are bored...you dont get this sort of treatment in LA because they have real crime to worry about. Most have racist characteristics and display ageism all the time. You dont see 50 year old guys in porshes pulled over, when have you seen a ferrarri or lambo stopped? I also drive a 1977 buick eletra 225 that has dice in the middle of the BUS WINDOW! I got stopped for the dice blocking my vision! Cop said, "I hate to bust up your theme, but you have to take them down" Yeah right, I couldnt see a thing out of the 6 foot glass window. I also have been stopped for no license plate bulb, for a registration check and the no license plate on the front of the car just last week. The rule is...Success has a price. Famous words of PDiddy, Mo money mo problems! We are all blessed enough to afford some KILLER rides...but that comes with a price. Cops are Dizznicks no matter what, so we must deal with the HATER AID as it comes. I hear that the stillen and borla exhaust are quiet yet still promote performance. If you DONT change your exhaust, just keep a separate FFCounty savings for all your tickets... I use VISA myself, its everywhere you want to be, and not be (court house)..LOL! Good luck and blessing to all of us when dealing with the Po Po. You could always let your woman drive after dark. They dont get as many tickets as us and you can drink yourself to sleep if thats your wish...LOL. My wife doesnt drink, hence why she is my wife. I know a few good lawyers in the FFCounty area...if anyone ever needs one.
FYI I got stopped in FEB for 81 in a 55. Thank God for 20" TSW's because my speedo was 3mph off! What did I learn in court after a day awaiting my turn on the slaughter block?.... as long as you are under 80mph, you will be ok..90MPH is mandatory jail time, at least a day per MPH over. With my speedo check I got 78mph in 55 which was a fine of 150 bucks! Guess what I used to pay it...VISA! LOL. I had a F150 with straight pipes, never stopped once, sounded louder than a NASCAR! hmmmmm...maybe I should by another truck and tow my G35 around?
