Yea I've really had a hard time meeting fellow Z owners who are passionate about thier cars. If you can make it cool, if not no biggy, Amanda and I will be there.

 

I can make it on the 16th! Out of town this weekend though.

 

16th? Its a while off but I dont see why not "weather pending". I agree all Subaru's and mazda's.

Everytime I went it was dead. Wish the meet was someplace else with food, beer, ect. Something to do besides standing around in the cold

Im not even down there enough to make a permanent suggestion..but I always end up at Friendly's (mispelled) on Braod just West of I64 near CarToys....

just an idea....dont know if they have brew....

I am sure there is a bowling alley are something you all could meet at....

Hell Barnes and Noble is better than being outside...

just trying to job the Richmond member memories....lol

Friendly's...no brew last I checked. Every couple of months I get together with a small group of friends and plan day long cruises...one of the last trips involved lunch at Red Robin and a trip to gforce karts. Either one would make a good place to meet, though gforce can be a little on the expensive side. Red Robin, if you've never been has pretty good burgers, and brew as well.

If anyone wants a change in pace maybe consider either of the above options? Hell, I'm open to anything really...just want something to start happening here in the Richmond area...

 

Yeah, Red Robin even has great veggie burgers, for me. It's right in front of the Short Pump Mall on Broad Street.

Short Pump would be perfect! I work across the street and could just roll up right afterwards. Plus we might get more interest from all car people there, if they see us all hanging out. It's a busy place. It would have to be a weekly thing though with good participation or I think it would die pretty soon seeing as how it would just be the few of us starting it out. Anyway, I will be there (Stbx) the 16th, hopefully my Z will be out of the shop by then. Otherwise I will roll in the rental. Holla!

So are you guys wanting to make the move to Red Robin's on Friday the 16th instead of Starbuck's? I agree that it's probably a little too nipply to stand in the cold with nothing to do.

 

Chris, I'm up for meeting at Red Robin on the 16th to just try it out. Nothing says it's etched in stone. But there at least we can hang out a little and look at and talk cars, then we can run inside to grab some grub and a few beers. It is a busy place - meaning we can ***** the cars.

The only thing with short pump i would be worried about is if they are gonna be dicks about us "loitering" cause I could see some stereotypical old rich lady complaining cause she's scared
