Default BamBam (Brent) and I are still alive... Street Fury Madness

Wow..Where do I start....

HIN

I'm sure you guys have seen/heard of Big C from Street Fury ... Well.. Big C invited Me, and Brent up to a shop north of Baltmore for filming of an upcoming epesode of his show.

All in all, was a good time.. nice people.. cool cars... Brent and I were interviewed about our cars. Then the madness starts...

I pull my car out of the shop and around front. Its a small lot. But not small enough to stop me from 'D-Walkin' After a few quick jabs.. I pull out of the way...

Then Brent with his open dumps pulls in.. dear god his car sounds sick.. we start going in and out of each others smoke .. ALL on FILM.

I promise a soon as Big C (or his TV crew) sends me it, I will post it.

We then let the cars cool down for a few, and head out to leave... as we are leaving .. I hear a sound that I know all too well.. $hit... I corded the tire...

simple enough... thank god I put my spare back in a few weeks ago!

Here is where the story gets complex... We are North of Baltmore, I have to follow brent to AAM to drop off his car.. and then give him a ride..
my 19 does not fit in the trunk...

Brent: "Where are you going to put the tire?"

Me: "Well.. it does not fit in the trunk.. so I geuss the pass. seat."

Brent: "OK.. oh.. wait.. once we drop off my car.. where will I sit?"

Me: "Umm... Ummmm..."

Brent: ""

Me: "I think we need a test fit."

Brent: "OK.. (a$$hole).. lets wrap the tire in a plastic bag"

and now... the test fit.....{drum roll}

and the pretty designs we left...

The Adventure continues...

In the next episode... Brent's Car V's Possum!

ROFL....something tells me I'm glad I went home and went to sleep after HIN. Blown tires, possums. Hell, knowing my luck, I'd have hit a water buffalo and passed an overturned ACE hardware truck that had just spilled 6 million nails onto the road.

You guys are nuts.

You know.. I sorta have to admit that.. a bit... BUT.. I got a chance to really sit down and talk with him before filming, and I kinda have to admit.. he really is not the same person that you see infront of the camera. Pretty laid back, very religious, and has a deep love for automobiles. Infront of the camera, well.. we all know how he is then. And thats the Big C that his producers want.

I looked at this as a unique opportunity for me to be able to get my car (and my sponsors) infront of a growing audience of eyeballs.. Print media is dying a slsow painfull death IMHO.

+ I'm an attention *****.

Kelly, I have to say driving through the back roads of MD left me wondering if I was going to try to bisect a deer with my ARC undertray like that possum...

Dude, that thing was huge.... ever seen a stainless steel undertray cut right through a 3 foot possum..... I can't wait till Dave and the crew put her back up on the car lift...

They should be able to get a good meal of Road Kill Surprise out of the undertray.

As for Big C, Mike is right, his online personality is like almost 180 degrees of his off mic persona. I mean, when he starts mixing with a casual group and is not being watched/recorded or instructed in what the director/producer wants he is a real decent guy. I had a good time and the smoke show was just something that was fun… I thought he had left already, or I probably would not have done it knowing it was going to be recorded… Having said, that I CAN’T WAIT to see the video of us doing doughnuts around each other and through the smoke trails….I hope they don’t include where I almost met that curb….

Awesome night Mike…Thanks for the ride back from AAM’s place. I can honestly say I have NEVER driven that slow voluntarily on 95/495 in my life… That taught me how to maintain a casual 45 on the interstate for miles and miles while being passed by tractor trailers doing 70 in the rain….. LMAO

+1 on video...you need 3 more spares to complete "the look"

tidbit time....with my passenger seat removed, I was able to fit all 4 of my stock (17") wheels in my car. it was close.

Hey all.. just saw that the show aired tonight.. I recorded it, some fine tire smoking fun with Brent and I. But only a few seconds of our madness.

Still have not got the entire reel of us.. .but I hope to now that this footage is out there.

Hey man congrats! Was flipping through the channels and saw Big C in front of the monument. Figured it might have been the episode and imagine my surprise when I saw them panning through the garage and I caught a glimpse of your car and Brent's car. Also saw the drifting action! Awesome!
