in maryland (state troopers) are "expected" to write 30 tickets a month. in fairfax county they are expected to write 45 from what im told by by cousin who is a cop. there is no official quota but thats what they are expected to have

A ticket/day is pretty nice... Especially since with my luck, most of the cops I run into give warnings.

I have driven in maryland alot recently.. its not hard to get 30 tickets a month.. all you have to do is go on the beltway and observe the aggresive driving

I used to enforce shoulder violations (passing on the shoulder) along Rt. 73 in Mt. Laurel NJ. Some days, especially with weekend shore traffic, I could write over 30 tickets a day.

Quotas... we need no stinking quotas.
