Default Active Tuning After Action Review Thread

Everybody's car was beautiful as usual. Seeing that R34 was a treat because I've never seen one close up. It was smaller than I thought. There were some clean Altimas and Maximas. There was a silver Altima on the way home that was NA and very quick. I had to give the Enterprise a little more warp drive than I thought. The dark blue Maxima that was with us was also quick and nice. I've seen the Frederick Nissan show car in Performance Autosound but those pictures didn't do the car any justice. I was only there for a few minutes so hopefully everyone else can thicken this thread up.

It was extremely hot, Couldn't wait until 5 For the raffle. I did get some nice cleaning products though. Waiting for the pictures as well. I know a lot of people were taking pictures left and right. I think I was the only one with my cellphone camera doing a cruise video which didn't come out too well. Either case, nice seeing everyone.

Well the ride up from Columbia was nice and fun... For some reason when we hit route 70 with more than 5 Z/Gs we always end up well over 120mph... Must be Sly's influence...

You know someone ratted us out as when we hit that traffic jam not 2 minutes later there were 3 state troopers behind us...

I was happy with my dyno run at 245hp bone stock with just a K&N filter dropped in the stock filter box. Now I am waiting for the exhaust and another dyno run...

It was a good meet...

Man I hate the fact that I couldn't make it, but I am happy to know you guys enjoy it. I had to work last night and was planning on getting some sleep at work so I could go but unfortunately it was one of those busy nights, so by the time I got of work at 7am, I was to tired and decided to go home

bboypuertoroc, I know you were expecting me to show up at the 0930 meet, I apologize for not being there but I give you my word Tony that I will stop by your farewell BBQ with some SOJU, and I say stop by cause I have to work that night .

I guess I'll enjoy the pictures now

this was def one of the more well executed events i have been to...so many cars and everything went off smoothly. Parking wasnt a problem and cars could get in and out very easily. Def some amazing cars everywhere too.

Kirkster....what year is your car? That is a good hp number. What was your tQ? I took pics but I didn't get a chance to upload it. Maybe I will later.

One interesting observation I had was when bboypuertorico saw his old Z at the meet..lol..that was funny.

Yeah, glad nobody had a hard time gettin' to the place even though the new dealiership was still under heavy construction. lol.

i had fun, got my car dynoed again. 253hp and 231tq! i'm happy with those numbers. Guy doing the dyno said i need to get tuned though. My a/f started at ~14.5 and around 4500rpm dipped to twelve and then ~11.5 after 5k.

Trying to think if i should get it tuned with another ecu flash or wait until I get that UTEC i'm looking at.

And oh yeah, I showed all those guys that thought my Z was stock.

Had a great time yesterday. I enjoyed hanging out with all the regulars and meeting some new faces. To the Civic owner who won the 350Z oil pan spacer in the raffle, thanks for a ridiculous deal on that. To whoever told that poor guy that it only costs $40 new, thanks to you too. Dave, thanks for organizing this and for the shirt and hat. Gene, sorry for scaring you by being on the roof. Mike, thanks for the Meguiars stuff. Kirk, nice dyno numbers man! Bert, thanks for the drinks. Mike and Keith, thanks for joining us.

My roof top pics are posted here.

Your welcome for that deal of a lifetime on the oil pan spacer. I figure it was better going off to someone that was going to use it then someone that didn't even want it.
