I met him Saturday at the AT meet, turns out he was a pretty nice guy. Oh well.

 

I'll have to drink a beer to celebrate tonight.

 

Wow... well.. I think that he just has some growing pains to go thru. In person he seemed pretty quiet and polite.. but .. behind the keyboard.. totally different.
Not to mention I was not sure WHAT to believe half the time.

I suppose you can only push your luck so far.

 

hey what happened? did he start another crazy thread or something? yeah I agree with Mike. seemed like two totally different people in person and behind the keyboard. Keith I was surprised when you said he came up to you and wanted to shake your hand.

I concur with everyone here who feels that while Shayan is a cool guy in person, he had a troublesome e-persona. Not sure why. I hate to push the big red button on anyone, especially guys who I've met and are nice people in person, but the amount of negativity that he brought to the forum was unacceptable, and warnings went un-heeded.

I guess this shows you how some kids get, using the internet as their security blanket. I personally didn't start using the net until I was 18.

I, like many of us, had to develope a "real life" personality and didn't use the internet as a crutch ... granted some people may have issues with my personality but atleast it wasn't conjured up using the net.
