Default NEED HELP: How to clean Polished Lips and how to protect clear coat?

MID-A,

For all those people with the sweet Volk, Piaa, etc. wheels with big polished lips I have a couple questions about how you clean them and keep them looking shiny:

1. What is the right way to clean the polished lip on the wheel?

2. Do you use a sponge or microfiber towel with just water?

3. If you do use a soap wash what brand do you use?

4. Is there a proper procedure or thread or website that tells you exactly how to clean the polished lip?

5. What product lines and products do you use? (Meguiar's, Mothers, etc)

I need help asap since I am going to put on the wheels that were delivered to my house today by Fed Ex hopefully not damaged (cross my fingers), I will post pictures that off the boxes and wheels but here it is:

Ruff Racing 280

Ruff Racing 281

Decided not to go with the Ruff Racing 281 since I didn't want to have clean that wheel, that would be hard to do everytime, and since eventually I would like to get a big brake kit, hint if anyone is selling them for a good price, and thought that this would look better with a big brake kit.

Stats on Wheels and tires:
Ruff Racing 280

Front:
20x8.5 +20
Nitto NT555 245/35/20

Rear:
20x10 +25
Nitto NT555 275/30/20

Dont know about Ruff's finish(if actual polish, or machined with CC), but contrary to popular belief, Volks dont have polished lips. They are machined and clear coated, so don tuse polish on them! I always clean my wheels with a towel and really soapy water-same as my car soap, and the lips look great. Many have tried wheel cleaners or strong polish and ruined the clearcoat on Volks....

+1. I clean c/c lip with soap and water and every once in a while wax them and they stay clean for a good while.

So what, just use regular soap and a towel rather than a sponge? Both a Meguiar's Car wash soap, Meguiar's Microfiber towel and Meguiars NXT Tech wax spray? Please help!!!!

I use my car wash (black magic) water, dry with normal towel and apply that Eagle Polymer something-or-another. Doesn't seem to have damaged my clear coat
