Man! I sold my baby a few weeks back and it was HARD AS HELL!!!!!

It is weird as heck:

1. giving your keys to some guy you just met
2. watching them drive off with your car
3. having them e-mail you asking u questions about your %$#@%$@ I mean their car!!!

Now I have this empty space in the garage and have nothing to bring out on a sunny day!

hehe i know exactly what you mean. I traded in my Z for an 06 Acura TL just 2 days ago. Right when I was handing the keys to the salesperson, I hesitated. I unlocked it, got in, and closed the door. I sat there for a good 3 minutes holding the wheel and shifting the gears and he was standing outside looking at me like

Just wait till they call you back and ask where to get replacement parts b/c they f'ed something up. I sold my S4 I had done up, and the guy calls me 6 months later to ask me where I got the wheels and the RS4 conversion?! Apparently his son was doing something stupid in a parking lot and hit a parking stop (or two) . Needless to say he deserved NO help (not to mention it was HELL getting that stuff from Germany thru a good friend). But I ended up being nice and I told him where to get them. I wanted to cry after I hung up the phone. But, I hope he could read German. I'll definitely think twice and give the person a good talking too next time I sell one of my baby's.

Oh man, I just traded my Z for a 4 Runner last week! Wierd thing was driving away and seeing my car in the rearview, looking stock as all get-out. Emptying out my junk was strange also. 2 Z's and 2 years of fun (with some jail time thrown in for good measure ), now I can drive in the snow!

I remember when my last car got totaled back in November. I was standing on the side of the road watching them load it on the flat bed.....thats when I really got pissed seeing thousands of dollars pissed down the drain because of some jackass woman talking on her cell phone hitting the gas instead of the brake plowing into my stopped car @60 mph from the rear. At least all you guys parted with your cars on good terms.

And this is what it looked like the night before....

RIP 13.9@101 one wheel drive wonder

John, if anyone here can relate....I'm your man...I didn't even get to meet the guy who bought it..just loaded it onto the truck, handed the driver the keys, and watched it leave:

The joy of having a Viper in the garage almost wasn't enough to make up for letting go of my Z, but it eased things. It gets better with time, though looking at pictures sucks.

We should get together and go for a rip in the snake some time man...just to catch up.
