Default another example of montgomery county's finest

so tonight while coming home from my ex girlfriends (dont ask) at around 1:45 am I am exploring the upper end of our cars 6th gear on the DC beltway.

so i merge off the 270 spur and decide to kick it into cruise control at a lowly 65mph and relax the rest of my drive home to springsteen's 17 minute rendition of "kitty's back" . After coasting to the red flashing stop, i look both ways, and notice the silver unmarked crown vic next to me and gun it knowing he's really got nothing on me, hoping he'll just eat it and go about his business. once I have looked both ways i veer into the intersection in first to and around 3000rpms gun it up and merge over to the left. this of course triggers our smartest and finest to start "serve and protect" and put his lights on, which to my , was not accompanied by the siren (we need more cowbell). so our good MoCo Mounty comes over. I cop out using the techniques i always tell you all to practice:

1) roll down both windows
1.5) shut off engine
2) get license and registration ready before the vehicle is pulled over
3) put both arms out of the window, and request all occupants to do the same
4) be as respectful to the officer as possible and speak with confidence - fear is an unofficial admission of guilt in most situations
5) observe the demographic of the officer and act accordingly

when he asked "so why did i pull you over" and i go "i dont know" he goes "you sped up when you merged, the law states that you decrease your speed" my response was "i left the stop light before you did, therefore it was my duty to merge at my own pace considering your car was already behind me from the start. your decision to speed up past me in the midst of a merging area may have caused a problem had i not been paying attention or had not sped up to get ahead of you. due to the limited space...."

all i can say is the topic of conversation went something like "you know its not smart to drag race a state trooper" and i simply respond "im sorry" he looks back at his warm crown vic and goes "have a nice night, i dont need to see your information, just go home and don't pass anymore officers - we don't like to be challenged on the road"

i forgot to mention - im a law school student, and criminal lit to be, so if anyone needs help fighting tickets please PM me, ive been doing it since i was 16.

Awesome... way to go man. What I don't get is why the officer would tell you that law states to slow down to merge... that **** causes accidents. You're supposed to get up to the speed of traffic to merge.

Ironic that you mention this... I was coming out of school one night last week and was at a light waiting to turn right onto Midlothian Tpk. I notice the main traffic on midlo is getting a green light so I hold off on turning, not to mention I notice a state trooper waiting first in line with the traffic. Anyway, the light turns green and a Mercedes vert from the far lane squeels tires off the line and then proceeds to accel through the gears to about 70mph, meanwhile the trooper takes of calm start and even passes by the guy the Mercedes, I was like wtf? Had it been me taking off like that...

They don't mess w/ guys that have money or his license plate must have said, "LAWYER." Same rules apply here in NOVA, no one in a BMW or Mercedes gets yoinked off the road for crazy driving because those are the guys that pay the most taxes for the po po's salary anyways. However, you always see the beat up civic or corolla getting pulled left and right for... a dent in their door or something dumb like that.

Fairfax cops are di(ks. I had some jerk calling and asking for donations, when he said that it was Fairfax I told them than I did not want to waste my money on those unfair pigs. It's crazy out here.
