I seen this thread, got curious about buying a used Supra with low miles, found this.

If anyone is in the Ohio area, this would be a steal I would assume? I also know nothing about Supra's. You tell me!

Yup that car is an N/A model. Nice, but N/A. We went more to collect when we shopped this car so I was mainly concerned with body /frame condition, VIN #'s matching, and BIG options (TT, 6pd, targa, etc.). If anyone is really serious about purchasing or finding a Supra, let me know and I will put you in touch with the appropraite people.

And just as an FYI...There are MANY N/A>turbo conversions out there. And like I said, just be really careful. If you're looking for something to collect or something truely nice and now pretty rare (especially if you're looking NOT to buy someone else's project) you're definitely looking in the mid 30K range. Anything less I would seriously question and investigate for validity. The truely rare is the Quicksilver FX and Idigo. You will not see one of those cars below 75K. They were only made from 97-98 and there were only approx. 35 TT in those colors to be ever made.

And actually the guy this was brokered thru owns a 97 Quicksilver.

$75k ? Who would have thought buying a car 8 years ago would have been an investment today? well maybe not an investment (inflation, cost of upkeeping the car) but definitely not putting a hole in your pocket.
