Follow the directions for the install...mount it as close the the lp as you can if you have one, that is where cops hit the most. Like on the top row of the grill, but put them on the outside of it, not too close together. I usually slow down and turn it off so the cop can get a reading of me not speeding.

edit: Just looked at the sight, mount it just like to see in the pics (viper)

FYI: a lot of guys running in a Rally have these. Federally you are allowed to have an active LASER Jammer, but a RADAR jammer is against Federal law. Some states have passed laws on the Laser jammer, but I don't think it is easy to detect without the proper up-to-date equipment. See this link in the bottom legal section:
http://www.radarbusters.com/products...er-details.asp

Another trick is the VEIL coating... http://www.radarbusters.com/products/coatings/veil.asp

This stuff is also used by many cars that Rally.

I think i have been hit a few times, i don't know if i was getting hit or someone else, i haven't been pulled over by a laser cop yet...i had one look at me real hard one day when i think he hit me and didn't get a reading...i didn't turn it off. That was pretty much the day i started turning it off after i slowed down. I always slow down though, i think once you get closer they can actually get a reading even if you have the blinder on, not sure though. Better safe than sorry.

Cheers

I use the K-40 set-up and it has saved me a few times. Although, I've heard that if the coppers have the up to date equipment, the laser jammer will temporarily jam it and the laser gun will switch (I guess frequencies?) and the jammer can't, giving them an accurate measurement at that point. Which would still give you a chance to slow down somewhat.

But they work really nicely on nearly all Red Light cameras.
