I know the owner of the Loudoun Independent, her son goes to school with mine. I believe for both the Easterner and the Independent, we are too late to get this in the print cycle before the meet, since neither are daily publications, but I can call her and ask.

 

Just got off the phone with the editor (Martin), must be a small paper because he would be the guy to cover. He's going to call the fire house and ask them to take some pics so he can print a story after the fact. Perhaps we can help him with that since he will be out of town.

 

The Easterner and the Independent are both "small" in comparison to the likes of the Post and the Times, since they cater to a specific area, and are weekly publications (I think they're both weekly....the Independent may even be bi-monthly, I'm not sure.) The co-owners of the Independent are the former publisher and editor of the Easterner.

Anyway, not to stray too far OT, anyone thought of calling a local TV Station to see if we can get some mention on the news, even if "after the fact"?

The location is way too new for it to appear on mapquest. That's why I suggested we all meet @ Tysons II Macy's Lot for those unfamiliar with the area.

Hey Mike it might be worth a shot to contact "Acura TL" Mike (forgot his last name) and see if he can get in contact with a Wash. Post representative. Since he was the main distributors in this wash metro area he probably has some connections.

 

guys I hate to do this but I won't be able to make it. My OEM bumper is on its way to California and the bumper I ordered won't be here in time. I'm sure it will be a great time and can't wait to see the pics.

The address doesn't work on mapquest.

It says the similar location found is "STERLING", VA, under the same zipcode.

If I can't find it...

Anyone else going from NYC area? Maybe I can follow.

 

For those who missed the post on page 2 and have no idea where the shop is located at (like me) some of us will be meeting here at 11am and rolling out by 11:30 am.
