As some of you may know the Raygun closed Aug 31 fall for various reasons (maintenance, under age drinking etc) and is changing ownership. Does anyone know when it's going to reopen, who bought the place, etc? Did anyone else go there to the shows/dance nights? I have some friends who spun there. I heard VCU maybe even bought it, that would be so lame and ruin all the fun. Anyone know anything about this? It would be cool when it reopens to know if anyone in the Richmond area also went to shows there alot and plans on going again. Let me know .

My sister used to date the bouncer, Brent, and he has said that they are NOT planning on opening back up at that location...perhaps somewhere else. The canal club is pretty cool and a multitude of other small places that I cannot remember the name too...most of them are close to VCU though. The fan is FULL of little places like that.
