Default Autocrossing....

I was thinking maybe we should get a group of Z's and G's together and go to a Autocross event together. It would be a lot of fun.
OR maybe..
We could try and rent a parking lot somewhere, and make our own autocrossing event for the Z and G community. It would be a blast!

Thoughts anyone???

I am going to promote the Autocross Incorporated schedule in my area. Usually I post a tread 2 weeks before the meet.

Well since I am a member of AI I will probably post up also... I can probably get some rides in my z with a nationally competitive driver if someone really wants to see what a Z can do...

Sign up for the events on the web... Inflate the front tires to 44 ish PSI, turn the VDC off, and Drive...

Pretty simple, at least until you get hooked. Not to mention it is a lot easier on the car than Drag Racing...

April 7th in Manassas at Osbourn Park HS with the Capital Driving Club(CDC). It's $30 or so, good events, and the lot was just repaved last year.

I am disappointed with the Philadelphia SCCA schedule this year: there is no racing scheduled for Ripken Stadium, Aberdeen, MD. I think that I will try to find the club that races in Frederick, MD.

A popular and well organized club in your area is Philadelphia SCCA. Check their schedule, and sign-up for the next event.

Who is CDC? Do you have a link to their autocross schedule?

I'll be at as many AI and SCCA events as I can this season.

Unfortunately the Mid-Atlantic Z scene seems to be more on show/drift than actual performance.

I'd go to Ripken but it's such a hike from NOVA for 5 minutes of autocrossing.

It would be awesome if FunctionTuned could put together a strictly Nissan meet at Summit Point one weekend to try to help get some more Mid-Atlantic members interested in performance driving.

We can make a difference Josh! haha

Ripken is a hike, I agree. I'm going to try and do FedEx more this season. There's more competition and it's close to my house.
