I think once all see the car IRL they will see how the Bronz/Brown compliment the Pearl white. Since the car isnt white, white it looks good with the tan and bronz.

I am happy with it.

Nice try, but it's too light. Should darken it up a lil and add some gold pearl.

While they dont look horrible, I like the gunmetal finish much better. I like the contrast of the gunmetal.

although it looks good, it also looks like white rims that havent been cleaned. +1 for creativity.

Nifty and different for sure. I don't know if I like it or not. I'd have to see it in person.

+1 on the brakes

My car is NEVER dirty...lol.
Just taking some risk like my man Alberto does. You have to push the envelope to gain knowledge and success. I just do things at a less monetary value than Bert does. My pockets arent as deep. LOL.

Thanks for the input. all. Maybe I will go a bit darker (if I can find it) on the final coat.

It doesnt need clear, they are glossy as it is.

ALSO: all. if anyone ever considers doing this ....
1. take your time and use manufactured edges of tape to guide your lines, even if you have to place thousands of small pieces to creat the lips edge. Take your time. It took us 2.5 hours for the first rim (that came out the worst) and only 45 minutes for the other 3. I am talking prep time.
2. Buy nice paint. We used RustOleum Rust Enamel...its expensice $5 bucks a can, however it clearly took less coast than the cheap stuff and was faster to dry..could handly after 1 hour..24 hours for final cure time.
3. Do what the hell you think, SIAMESE (God love em) tried to talk me out of it like 5 time before I hit the first spray of the can. After wards he said alot of what has been posted. I like the gunmetal, however its new, clean, different, looks like you missed the white color mark, etc. Now he is on my side of things and thinks that paying 200 bucks each per rim isnt worth it.
4. Have fun. I love this site and all of your input. I like cars so much I helped a old guy in a 350Z that was stuck from a spinout on an offramp. I was in a friends jeep and after getting home I felt condemed to changem, go back and help. My rope broke just as the tow trucks showed up, but the guy was so impressed that he offered to take my wife and I out for dinner. I said no thanks, I just did it for the love of these cars. You know never when you may need help from someone on this board. Respect should always be maintain.

Bert and I have had our discrepancies of opinion, But I have always respected him for pushing the maxium throughput limits of our cars with timing and tuning. However, we have joked and mad stupid comments, we still maintain a love for our cars and respect for one another.

This is what its all about. I dont care for big wings off the back of our cars, however there was a Honda point time where thats all I wanted, besides a Supra.

Hmm. Just looks like dirty white wheels to me. With the doors closed, no one will know what the point of the color is. Also, I'd be worried about the paint adhering with a spray job.

I agree with some people above the first thing ppl will think is that you tried to match the exterior of your car and ****ed up pretty bad but you did a very good job matching the interior. It really isnt my style but at least you did a clean job at it.

With your tinted windows, I think most people are not going to connect the color of your rims to your interior.

I do color match my boxers, socks and shirts....so see I am different. LMAO!

The tint really brings out the seats....... I may go darker, then black or doo doo brown for the calipers and brakes!
