Default Interior Matched Rims!!

SIAMESE and I painted my 20's TSW's last week. I think they came out extremely good considering we had a few beers by the time the project was completed. I still need to do one more coat...awaiting decent weather. I would like to know everyones thoughts. I feel that they look AWESOME as is, however my goal is to get the rims to compliment the tan leather seats. I have seen off colors or exterior color matched rims, but NEVER have I seen interior matched rims....

Do you like or dislike?
Do you feel that they are too light in color? ( I am caught between trying to go darker, then being screwed because its too dark!

Be NICE in your thoughts...lol!

Minutes before paint!

Looks Okay I guess, not feeling the cream color however, but everyone has different taste.
Nice job!

after a 6 pack and 1am rolled around...removing, sanding and painting the brakes wasnt an option.. I am thinking of going with a dark brown to bring out the Bronz window tinting.... most likely they will be black.

I see white cars usually having gold rims or color matched white; the tan rims give off a hybrid of both combined - which is different, but I would've stuck with gunmetal because I'm unoriginal like that. However, you need to work on those brakes! They stick out like a sore thumb!

Cool idea, but to me, and I suspect to most people who see it, they will assume that you tried to match the rims to the exterior-and failed badly. Not my cup of tea personally, but once you see what the wheels are really matched to, it does look "better"....

I was going to say the same thing as Alberto, but to add to that..... You did a pretty good job for being tipsy!! And I think It woulda looked hotter if you had black or any darker color to bring out the rims more..

plus 1,2 with the brakes.

I think in the summer when the roof is open and the windows are down it will be more clear. But keep inmind that the windows are bronz/brown in color.

thanks all....U2 Bert... I am sitting in a CISSP bootcamp right now..testing for the 4th freaking time on Sat. I may pull, sand and paint the brakes then....

The lighting isnt the best in the pic.

Objects are more brown than they appear.! LOL

I knew that would look bad a@@. I love it bro. And I agree with you, it could be a hair darker, but like you said you don't want to go too dark. Did you clear them? If not a coat of clear may darken it up that little bit you're looking for. And its definitely different.

I'm sorry, but I think it looks tight as hell. I just woke up and even the girl that slept over last night thought it was tight.

It looks okay, but I think the rims looked better before the paint. The only bad thing about interior matched paint is that 99.9% of the people that see your car don't see the interior.
