Well Spencer there ya have it I would give that a shot before going 1500 in the hole with HKS but just my .2 
Figure you'll get it back when you sell your AAM, and trust me it will sell!

On second thought Id buy a 3" resonator online, and take it to a muffler shop to have it welded in for less than $50. Maybe spend $100-120 total on that and it will help tremendously with drone and noise level. Friend of mine added resonators to his 3" SFR exhaust, wayyyy cleaner sound and quieter now, less ricey.

To the op does yours drown out your stereo at above 3000rpm. Cause I am in the market for a new exhuast too. I have the 3" single ti from agency power with kenetix hfc and it is deffening(?) inside the car. Plus I've already been pulled over 3 times in one day for it. No tickets, but still. Socal cops don't like it one bit.

That may or may not work, depending on your single exhaust. I tried to do that with my Topspeed Pro-1 but there was no space for the resonator. If you want, you can use the resonator I have to see if a shop can do it. If they can, I'll sell it to you for $20.

i never even thought about getting the knock off.The real deal is deffinatly worth it, its loader then you think, i had a friend drive mine up the street,and its deffinatly enough to get attention.
