Default I got a raise after #1 Sales for the most Super-Sized Meals in VA (and Happy Meals 2)

Who cares about driving technique n skill anyways? (Heel/Toe... a turn's apex... taking the best line... weight transfer... double clutch rev matching... WTF is THAT?!) The Z is meant to be garaged and looked at, but I don't have that much of an option. For those that know me, I live out in the boonies where there are lots of curvy roads and hills so I used my bonus check to get more handling mods in order to get to the to grocery store faster.

By this, I mean an upgraded Quaife differential and solid aluminum differential + sub-frame bushings by SPL.

We start with the removal of the weak-sauce VLSD:

Compare and Contrast between a fake vs real LSD:

My Grocery store project in the works:

Quaife fits nice n snug in its new home!

The products in question: Solid aluminum diff. bushings and Solid aluminum sub-frame bushing:

Function:TUNED removes the old rubber wimpy bushings:

And then installs the new ones!

All done:

Before:

After:

The grocery getter:

VLSD grocery getting time: 12 mins 43 secs.
Quaife grocery getting time: 11 mins 12 secs.

Driving impressions: The entire feel of the car is much more firm. The Quaife makes absolutely NO NOISES! I picked this one in particular since it's the only gear driven LSD; the rest are clutch type and I've been hearing too many stories of chattering and rattles to and point where chicks believe that you are driving a box of poop. (Not to say there's anything wrong with other brands, just a personal preference)

Special Thanks:
1. Function:TUNED
2. Obese people who love to eat in America that come in and order a Super Sized Big Mac and a "diet coke" to make themselves feel better.

Shop Impressions:
While they were working on installing my Quaiffe, they had a spare VLSD to loan to me in order for me to drive around in for the time being. Top Notch customer service and zero downtime. Not to mention they took all these cool pictures to update me with every step of the way!

Can you please explain why you went with the Quaife? Also, where did you get those aluminum bushings? Thanks.

Yes, the clutch-type LSDs usually have metal plates that make noise - however, the ATS uses carbon plates that have no noise whatsoever.

Do the bushings really make any difference? Any additional vibrations?

I'd say the closest one would have to be caffeine, but I clean/unclog toilets too! Customers r lazy about flushing.

Quaife = drives like stock, no breaking in needed since it's the only Gear Driven LSD. No *Pop Pop POP* noises when you're trying to find a parking spot (you can read all about that with you search up "LSD pop") I got the aluminum bushings from SPL Parts http://www.splparts.com/ anything they make is an A+ product. They've been researching and designing many handling components for the Z, i HIGHLY suggest these bushings, plus, they're only like $250 shipped for the diff + subframe bushings! The best part is: Juan and Dave LOVE installing them too!

Nope! No vibrations whatsoever and the car feels more responsive and firm in the corners and in straights. I'd suggest you getting a set and trying it out - you won't be dissappointed; plus $250 can't be all that much of a loss
