So how far is the actual trail from Bob Evans? Where is the nearest gas station too? I don't want to get stuck.

 

There are gas stations all around the Bob Evans in Manassas. Skyline Drive, by guessing, is about 60 miles from that part of Manassas.

One more question! Well, maybe 3 more.
So its a 105 mile trail... is that one way? Where do we end up.... and how the hell do I get back to 495?

 

Only thing that has changed is the date.

 

Its right on a main drag in MANassAs VA...you have your choice of gas stations on that road....there is a Mall, banks (ATM), everything, even a bath and body works just incase you want to drop some smell good in your ride...lol.

 

Trust me when I say that 90% of us is not in the physicall conditioning to complete the trail down and back. Plus the park closes at sundown! I heard it was 15 bucks to enter not 10??????

We normally drive about half way, eat lunch then head back the same way.

Others like to exit the side of the park and go get tickets (No offense to those who got popped in Jan).

If you leave the other way, the roads just are too tempting not to open things up. I am sure that the park rangers and local law enforcement are in close communication when bikes, and 30 sports cars are in town....

My goal is to drive and stop a few times for pics, get to the half way point, relax, then head back to the main entrance of the park. Exit to I66E to I495....we can go the other way if we all decide the 20 minutes we would save will be worth it, howver my cruise control will be set and if you are old enough to buy a G or Z then you are old enough to make your own speed limit rules......
