I need to take you up on your offer. My clutch has started to slip since I spray so much. What base in Southern Maryland are you at? The only one I'm familiar with is the Naval Air Station. I don't mind driving down as long as you're sure you can get me and my car on base. I remember when I was still in the Marines, I had issues trying to use the Auto hobby shop on Ft Meade.

if people aren't comfortable paying $250 for an install, then thats on them... I'm just doing this for extra cash doing what i like to do on the weekends..
especially since i feel like i got this down to a science

thanks.. wasn't offended at all by what u pointed out..
i work at NAS Patuxent river.. yes NAS is Naval Air Station..
getting your car in isn't a problem, just have to drive infront of you and tell the gate that i am sponsoring you. (as long as i have decals)
So, just PM me a few days ahead of time, and I highly recommend u guys to watch and learn.. after that, if im not busy on any particular weekend.. u guys can come and use the shop yourself and bullsh!t with me while i work on my car too.
Oh.. by the way, this base has the best golf course in the navy and is a great place for camping or fishing

since it destroyed my new clutch , he's doing me a favor of rebuilding my spare transmission
yup... over 15 years experience but never worked on a VQ35 rwd

very odd, he doesn't need to know about the vq to know that you are suppose to put transmission type threadlock on all flywhel bolts. You are suppose to do that anyways. Sad.
Very good deal, i'm going ot tackle this myself. Too bad you aren't closer, gas money will make it the same as local mechanics.

F.S: used jwt flywheel + jwt pressure plate + install $600.00
I also have a used jwt flywheel, and clutch pressure plate. It needs a new clutch disc face which is about $150.00 available online
I can do it installed for $600.00 or sold seperately
USED:
JWT flywheel $ 180
JWT Presure plate $ 150 OBO
Is there a recent boycott in the purchase of aftermarket clutch/flywheel?
why isn't anyone jumping on this?
