My CBR is up for sale. MD
bike is in darn near perfect shape.
bad things being, tank protector is coming up.
rear tail light LEDs flicker but come on full blast when brake is used.
traced that problem to the LED bulbs them self, but I don't mind the flicker so I've left them.
5-15 bucks for new LED bulbs.
Foot guard is scuffed up (see pics)
That's pretty much it for the bad.
The bike just broke 10K miles
Rear tire has around 1000 miles on it.
Front tire has around 300 miles on it.
Brand new battery as of this year.
bike has Carbon fiber, tank protector, frame sliders, and cat eye turn signals.
Devil racing Hi Mount carbon fiber exhaust
under tail kit
tire hugger
double bubble windscreen
updated CCT
Bike has a clean title, never been tracked, never been down, always used Honda oil and Honda filters. oil changed every 1500-2000 miles depending on how often the bike was used.
The bike just broke 10K miles
Asking $5500.00 KBB is $5050.00 based on a higher mile bike. I'll let the bike go for $5000.00 if I get to keep the exhaust and tire hugger.
I have 3 pages of detailed pictures at.

I've seen, looked at and passed on many of those 600RRs you're talking about, in fact I had an offer to buy an 04 with 9xx miles for $5500.00
wonderful bike in great shape... oh wait. it went down. just like the other 90% of bikes on the market. while almost every listing will stat that they're clean and haven't went down, go check them out and you'll find out fast that they have. Same goes for Dealerships, I've been in and out of many used dealerships looking for a good 1000cc base to build a bike with. I would say that almost every one of the showroom used bikes have also went down. it's crazy how many have, on top of that the price tag is also out the ***.
another problem with people and dealerships selling low mile, clean, never been down bikes. Is racing. If you know what to look for you can find hints that a bike has been tracked. Nothing like buying a low mile bike that had the odometer removed, plastics removed, dragged for a year straight, put back together, and then being sold by a dealership for a prime price tag due to super low miles.
The last dealership I went to had a handful of them!!!!! not a single one for less then $8500.00
buyer beware.

Are you talking about the Honda CBR 600RR? If so I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a 2003 model. When I bought my 2004 CBR600F4i, it was the only 600 supersport offered by Honda. The CBR600RR came out in 05. The only other 600RR I can think of was the ninja 636RR (which was actually only 600 due to AMA racing rules).
So just because I am curious, what are these 600rr's you are seeing?
And I totally see what you are saying about the price of these bikes for sale that have been dropped. But 5500 is still a tad high, even for a non-dropped bike. And at 10,000 miles, I would hardly call it almost new. Either way I think it would be a hard sell at that price. I do wish you luck.

Did the sales guy tell you the F4i was the only model that honda made in the 600 class? maybe they were out of RRs and he wanted to sell you something =)
As for the 600RR yes it was in 03 that they came out. it's also the year the F4i went from their flagship 600 supersport to a down graded banana seat to work and back bike. the 636 was the Kawasaki 600RR it was a edge up in power for the 600s, however due to track issues, Kawasaki also made a 600R that was a 600cc supersport bike that met track requirements. I could be getting my R and RR mixed up. either way Kaw put out two different 600s of the same years. 600 and 636 both holding the ZX6R and ZX6RR name.
