Porsches and Vipers aren't nearly as unattainable as you think.

no problem Sly, I'm sure other opportunities will present themselves.

I'll try to make it out for the next Z meet.

Here's what everyone does for work: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ighlight=mid-a

The government is overrated, however there is a executive position here @ Mickey D's for a Sanitation Specialist

Do they get to wear the same cool uniform as everybody else? Or are the Sanitation Specialists lower on the fast food hierarchy of achievement?
I'll forward my resume ASAP

I know what you are going through. Several years back I decided to sell the Porsche and decided no more Porsches for me. I liked the crowd though, but not as fun as those I've met with the Z.

why no more porsches?

The porsche crwod seems a lot older and a lot more subdued and interested in things like concours and covered bridges. I believe in driving a car for all it's worth. I value drive time over bumper paint. I'm not sure how well they are going to take to the likes of me
I do want their spiffy Porsche Club of America license plate though...

BAH.... Porsche's suck...... Just kidding Lecee
I know you have been looking for something new and exciting for a while now. It sounds like you found it. CONGRATS and you know you made the right decision to keep hanging with the Z guys instead of the Porsche guys... We are a lot more fun

I can't wait for next year's rally and seeing what cars show up to test their mettle on a 3,000 mile rally. I do know that if I can, I will definitley be there

Maybe you can bring some new blood to the "old fogey" crowd of Porsche owners<?>

Congrats on a good car that performs well and is reliable. I have met you at couple of meets and drove together, one heck of a driver you are. Hope to see you around at meets with your 911.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys! I certainly plan on seeing you lots!

hey charlie! is that mason dixon track in MD?

Maybe I'll bring the 911 out. It's not really a drag strip kind of car though - it's more a top end cruiser and road course kind of vehicle.

heehee, thanks for the compliment spaceman spiff

Yes it is Mason Dixon. Technically the Z isn't a drag car either, its all just for fun anyway. Hope to see you there!
