Yea I'll bring it. Not ready to run it yet though because I can barely drive it and the last time it was at the track it shot a carbon/carbon clutch right through the side of the bellhousing.

 

Whats the fastest time you've run in it and at what whp?

 

Well most of you guys will probably recognize it. It's the old Altered Atmosphere Car. I worked over there for a while. I personally have not run it. The owner Mike ran a best 10.7 at somewhere around 134mph on the old setup. Its putting out about another 60whp now. It is also wired for nitrous but has never been fired.
If I can learn how to drive it well and fire the nitrous it should be able to turn a low 10 at least.

 

Also I know a local photographer I could get to come down if anyone would be interested in some good quality pics of the cars running.

 

Cool, My wife will be taking Pics aswell. She took some photography classes and this will be good experience for her.

The more pics the better.

Speaking of pics. She wanted to get single pics of everyone with their car one at a time. I guess before we start running we will setup something where everyone heads over to a place that has a nice back drop and get a few shots taken of them and their car.

The Orange one? Good luck with it, I remember about 3-4 years ago Mike ran it at MIR and had run 11.7's! I know its much faster than that...

 

Yea, he was able to get a best of 10.7 out of it later on. The new setup has insane top end, but alot of lag to get her going.

By the way do you guys all know since its a Friday night and we are on dual highway there is going to be a ton of street racing. Up and down rt 40 on Friday and Saturday nights always yields alot ot racing.

 

What shop in Hagerstown is doing work for you?

 

That car had run 10's way before I even met Mike...what part of RT40 will there be racing on? I only know RT40 from B-more through Catonsville, into Ellicott City and then it merges onto RT70 West. We are partying that night anyways...

 

I just picked up some more traction for the track day, I had to get a new pair to clear the Brembos.





I'd be happy with low 13's @ 106-108 mph.

What's your work schedule look like Dan? When can I come by to get those ET streets mounted? Also, do I need to pick up some valve stems or do you have a spair set laying around?

 

About 2-3 miles up towards Hagerstown right where the road splits into 2 lanes on each side, guys normally run right there up to the bridge or so. Any farther up is asking for trouble. Plenty of time for partying, it would be fun for you guys to surprise some of the local V8's.

 

I told you man call him, hes not online from 8-5pm, go up around 4pm he should be able to take care of you today...

 

Could be a interesting evening

Just watch out for all those crazy civics running around up here
