breaking axles does kind of suck. Forged didn't tell me I had to take apart the CV joint and re-use the stock part of the axle that bolts to the pumpkin. thought it was going to be a quick bolt in job but it took a little longer than expected.

Default Good to see the list is still growing.

Lets hope for more watchers as well. That part of the list is fairly small so far.

yeah, swapped them out last weekend. it was more of a pain in the *** than i thought. Yeah, had take apart the inner C.V. joint, get nasty grease all over myself and switch the axles out, and put everything back together again. Definitely came in handy to have a lift and other various tools on hand.

No offense guys, but I thought with the size of your engines, you be going alot faster than 124mph by now? Whats the limiting factor, the tranny? Nobody has made an adapter plate to fit a supra 6spd. on? Shouldn't be that much work and that tranny will take all the torque and power you can throw at it.

Hey guys. Sort a bad news. I cannot bring the flatbed to the track. Insurance purposes. We just signed the settlement papers yesterday so its gonna take awhile for me to switch over all the insurance and billing infos. But I will have local tow yards in that area and rockville at the tip of my fingers to come out if we need any tows for dirt cheap.
Also I'll have a set of axles in handy just in case anyone needs them. Let me know if anyone wants to order them. I can order more in before the track meet. Until I get some word, I will only have 1 set of axles.

"Size of your engines"? Last time I checked most of guys that will be running their Z/Gs will be using a 3.5 Liter engine.

Julian/Jersey crew-you guys do plan on staying up in the area that night and partying right? In case you missed it there is a nice club/bar 10 min from the track and most of us are staying up there Friday night after the track day.

BTW-TODD, now would be a good time to repost all the hotel info for those of us making reservations.
